Description

Cheese Toast is a crispy, golden-brown toast topped with melted cheese, perfect for breakfast or a quick snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread (white, wheat, or sourdough)
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella)
  • 1 tbsp butter (optional)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) or use a stovetop pan.
  • Butter one side of each bread slice (optional for extra crispiness).
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top of each slice.
  • Add garlic powder and black pepper if desired.
  • Bake for 5–7 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
    • Stovetop method: Cook in a covered pan over low heat until cheese melts.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
